JUNIOR LEAGUE OF ST. PETERSBURG NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ANNUAL JUNIOR LEAGUE PARTNERSHIP BALL

St. Petersburg, FL (February 27, 2010)
– The Junior League of St. Petersburg (JLSP) announced today that it is now accepting applications for its third annual Junior League Partnership Ball, to be held on December 3, 2010.   The Junior League Partnership Ball is aimed at raising money while focusing on the JLSP’s mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

The Junior League Partnership Ball is an opportunity for the JLSP to work with another area non-profit organization to raise funds and awareness for both organizations’ causes.  The JLSP will provide the majority of the work associated with the event and the recipient non-profit organization will receive a grant from the net proceeds.

The JLSP is now accepting applications from area non-profit organizations.  Applications are available for download at www.jlstpete.org and are due no later than February 24, 2010.  The recipient non-profit organization will be announced by May 18, 2010.

For additional information about the Junior League Partnership Ball, contact Event Chair Jenna Worden-Brooks at jlpartnershipball@gmail.com or 727-895-5018.
