Mission Statement The Junior League of St. Petersburg is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Vision Statement The Junior League of St. Petersburg envisions a community where individuals and families have access to resources that assist in the development of healthy life skills. About Us The Junior League of St. Petersburg is an organization of women who have worked to make our community a better place to live since 1931.
This local group of women has 200+ Active members and 350+ Sustaining members. The Junior League of St. Petersburg is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) which is made up of 293 Junior Leagues in four countries. Together, we are one of the largest, international volunteer organizations for women interested in making a positive impact in their communities. Members of the Junior League of St. Petersburg are accomplished collaborators who build coalitions, identify community needs, and develop effective and responsive programs to serve those needs. The Junior League of St. Petersburg reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Each year, the Junior Leagues collectively raises millions of dollars for our community-based programs through a variety of fundraisers. The Junior League of St. Petersburg empowers women through leadership training and development to take action in their communities.
